Experienced hands on the road
For many animals the journey is the least familiar part of the trip. After three decades we know how to load dogs and cats calmly, settle them safely and bring them relaxed to their destination, even when the passenger is sceptical at first.
Our drivers are experienced and used to travelling with pets. If a pet finds the journey particularly difficult, a second member of our team can travel along and provide extra care.

Common questions about the shuttle service
How far do you drive?
We drive without a fixed distance limit. Most often we are out in the Flachgau, for example to Seekirchen, Henndorf, Straßwalchen, Mattsee or Obertrum. We also drive into the city of Salzburg, to Hallein, to Thalgau and into the Mondsee area. Longer routes are possible at any time, including across the border into the Berchtesgadener Land, to Freilassing or Laufen. Charging is by the kilometre. Tell us your address and you will receive the exact price with your quote.
What does the shuttle service cost?
€ 4,00 per kilometre of distance (one way per journey). You can work out the cost in advance with the guide-price calculator on our prices page.
Can I book only the collection or only the return?
Yes, both directions can be booked separately, whichever suits your travel plans.
What should I have ready for the journey?
Please have your pet's food, lead or carrier and familiar belongings ready. We take everything over at collection. For collections from abroad, we also need the EU pet passport with a valid rabies vaccination.
Do you transport cats as well?
Yes, our shuttle service is available for both dogs and cats. Cats travel in their own familiar carrier, which is the calmest option for them.
How is my pet secured in the vehicle?
Dogs travel in a suitable carrier or secured in the load area, cats in their carrier. We drive calmly and take breaks when the route calls for it.
Can several animals be collected together?
Yes. Pets from the same household can travel together, and the journey is charged only once.
My dog does not like car journeys. What then?
After three decades, we know how to handle nervous and anxious passengers. A familiar item from home and a calm driving style help most pets feel more comfortable. If your pet is prone to travel sickness, please mention this in your enquiry.
What happens if my return flight is delayed?
A short message is all it takes and we can adjust the return journey. Your pet will remain safely cared for with us until then.
Who hands the pet over at collection?
The handover happens in person at the front door. A neighbour or a family member can do this too, if it is arranged in advance.
