We carefully remove mats and tangles, strand by strand. Thinning excess undercoat allows the skin to breathe again. We remove any ticks at the same time.
Cut & styling
Whether you prefer a breed-standard trim or something different, we discuss the style with you beforehand. Lisa hand-strips wire coats by hand, helping to preserve their natural texture and colour.

Dogs have been part of our everyday life since 1996. We have long taken care of their grooming ourselves, too: bathing, brushing and working with the clippers. With Lisa as our dog groomer, the salon has grown once more since 2026: cutting and styling are now part of what we offer as well. One thing we have learned over all these years: every dog is different. That is why we take exactly the time each one needs.

Yes, we work by appointment only. That way every dog has our full attention.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
That depends on size, breed and the condition of the coat. When we arrange the appointment we tell you how much time we are setting aside.
How often should my dog be groomed?
It varies depending on breed and coat type. We are happy to advise you and recommend a grooming interval that suits your dog.
What if my dog is anxious?
We work calmly and patiently, and breaks can be taken whenever needed.
Can I combine grooming with a stay?
Yes, of course. Your dog can be groomed during their stay at the SCHNAUZERL Hotel and comes home freshly groomed. And if you are travelling: in the same building, since 1996, we have been running our pet boarding. For a single day just as much as for several weeks.

The price depends on the time your dog needs: € 42,00 per half hour. We will tell you the expected price before we begin.
