Our services

Thoroughly at home in the dog hotel

Your dog feels at home here from the first day: lovingly supervised groups with companions who suit him, spacious fenced exercise areas and air-conditioned indoor rooms to retreat to.

Carefully matched groups

We put the groups together by character, size and compatibility, so that your dog feels safe. We keep a digital note of which four-legged friends get on well and bring them together again on the next stay.

Large, fenced exercise areas

Plenty of room to run, sniff and play outdoors. The dogs can use the outdoor area at any time. In summer our own swimming pond is waiting as well.

Air-conditioned indoor rooms

Whether it is a hot summer day or a cold winter evening: indoors the temperature is always comfortable. The underfloor heating has warmer and cooler zones, so every dog can choose its own favourite spot.

A private room for a surcharge

For dogs who prefer their peace, or who need to stay on their own for health reasons, there is a private room for a surcharge.

The grounds

Around 3,500 m² for your dog

Around 3,500 m² are available to the dogs: four large exercise areas, a green play meadow and a sports run of its own. The dogs live in rooms with direct access to the outdoors. The outdoor areas are fenced to a height of 2,40 metres, angled inwards at the top and set 80 centimetres deep into the ground.

For animals that need quiet or distance there is a separate quarantine and sick bay with an airlock and its own separate exercise areas. If it turns out that worming is needed, we carry it out.

Our swimming pond

A swimming pond of our own for our guests

The grounds include a swimming pond of our own. For many dogs it is the highlight of the stay: splashing, retrieving, cooling off and then drying out at length in the grass. Moving in water is fun and is especially gentle on the joints, particularly for strong, heavy or older dogs.

Water lovers are usually in with the first jump. More cautious dogs approach slowly from the shallow bank, and some only discover with us how much fun swimming can be.

And for dogs who love the water even more, there are trips with us to Lake Wallersee or to the stream right outside our door.

Trips to the water always happen with someone from our team.

How it works

Your dog’s first steps with us

I

Enquiry & advice

You simply fill in our enquiry form and describe your dog’s character, food, medication and anything special. We look at everything and send you a suitable quote by email. That way everything is ready when he arrives. If you have questions, you can reach us by phone at any time.

II

Arrival & settling in

On arrival we go through everything again calmly and clear up any open details. We check the vaccination record and keep it on file. A familiar object from home, his own blanket or a favourite toy, helps your dog settle in with smells he knows.

III

Care & collection

Daily exercise, play and attention. When you collect him you get a short account of how he enjoyed his time with us.

Common questions about the dog hotel

How does settling in work for new dogs?

New dogs get to know the group gently and step by step. We take our time over a soft start, so that your dog feels safe and comfortable from the beginning.

Can I visit my dog at any time, or get photos?

Your dog stays fully in his new rhythm during the stay, which is why we do not arrange visits. We are glad to send you current photos of your dog by WhatsApp.

What does my dog need for the stay?

A collar with a name tag, with the name and phone number engraved clearly and permanently. That way your dog can always be identified. You can get both directly from us: we engrave tags on site (from € 12,00), and sturdy fabric collars in various sizes are available here (€ 10,00). Dogs that wear a harness at home also get a collar with us. Chains stay at home too, as both can get caught during play in the group.

What if my dog needs medication?

No problem. At handover we go through the dose and the times precisely and take care of giving it reliably. Please bring the medication in its original packaging and with a short written instruction.

Is there a discount for several dogs from one household?

We calculate per dog, because the care and attention needed for each animal is the same.

How exactly does the group allocation work?

We put the groups together by character, size and compatibility, and keep watching how they get on.

Which vaccinations does my dog need?

Valid vaccination cover is a condition of the stay. If the expiry date has only just passed, we are still happy to take your dog for up to six months afterwards. The usual ones are distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and kennel cough. We recommend an active rabies vaccination; for dogs arriving from abroad it is compulsory. Please bring the vaccination record to the handover.

What should I send along with my dog?

Food is included with us. It is best to send a familiar blanket straight from your dog’s bed: the smell he knows gives him confidence, especially at the start. Please bring the vaccination record.

What if my arrival is delayed?

A call is all it takes. Traffic, a delayed flight or an appointment that runs long. As soon as we know, we adapt to it. That applies to arrival just as much as to collection.

Is someone with the dogs at night as well?

Yes. We live in the same house as your dog. That means someone is on site around the clock to keep an eye on things and to react immediately if it matters.

Do you take bitches in season and dogs that have not been neutered?

Dogs that have not been neutered and bitches in season are welcome with us at any time. All we need is a note at the reservation saying whether your bitch is in season, or might come into season during the stay. If so, she joins bitches she gets on with. That way she stays in company and everything stays calm.

Can you also take a mother dog with puppies?

Yes. Mother dogs have already spent the first weeks with their puppies here, and a few puppies were even born with us. We agree an individual price for this.

Can my dog be groomed during the stay?

Yes. Our Grooming salon is in the same house. Between exercise and rest breaks, Lisa takes time for a bath, a cut and care of the nails and ears.

Where do your guests come from?

Most dogs come from the Flachgau and the city of Salzburg, for example from Seekirchen, Obertrum, Mattsee, Straßwalchen, Henndorf or Thalgau. We are right by the A1, exit Wallersee. For the journey you can also use our Shuttle service .
