Answers to your questions
What does carefully matched group care mean?
Dogs spend their stay with carefully matched companions in thoughtfully assembled groups. Cats enjoy spacious communal areas with places to retreat, climb and play. This gives them plenty of exercise, activity and social interaction.
Is a private room possible?
Yes, a private room is available whenever needed, for an additional charge. If your pet does not feel comfortable in its group, we first look for a better-matched group. This usually resolves the situation.
What documents does my pet need?
Your pet should be microchipped and have up-to-date vaccinations. Valid vaccination cover protects every pet here and is a condition of the stay. Please bring the vaccination record.
How does settling in work?
We take our time gently introducing your pet to the surroundings and the group. We are also happy to arrange a visit and a taster day beforehand.
Can I see the grounds beforehand?
Of course. Simply arrange a time to visit and we will personally show you where your pet will spend its holiday.
How far in advance should I book?
We are well booked especially during the school holidays. We recommend enquiring early to secure your preferred dates.
When are the pets looked after?
Your pets are looked after seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays and right through the holiday season. For visits and for dropping off and collecting we are here Monday to Saturday at the times listed; on Sundays and public holidays we are closed to visitors.
What if my pet becomes ill?
Our vet can come to us on site. They have known us and our guests for years, so your pet can remain in familiar surroundings. You will be informed immediately, and treatment costs are charged separately.
Is someone with the pets at night as well?
Yes. We live in the same house as your pet. This means someone is on site around the clock and can respond immediately if needed.
Do I hear from you during the stay?
Yes, of course. We send you a short update during the stay, so you know how your pet is doing. We are also happy to send a photo.
