Cats are creatures of habit and need quiet. That is why our cat house is deliberately calm: spacious communal areas for sociable cats, private places to retreat for everyone else.
Communal & quiet areas
Your cat decides for herself whether she wants company or prefers her peace. It is quiet and relaxed with us, separate from the dog boarding. All indoor rooms are air-conditioned.
Places to climb & play
Scratching posts, raised lookouts and toys provide variety and exercise. That keeps your cat active, even away from home.
A private room for a surcharge
Some cats prefer to keep to themselves. For animals that would rather be entirely on their own, older, anxious or unwell cats for example, we offer a quiet room of their own with personal care.
Secure outdoor run
Our cats can go outside at any time: a fully fenced outdoor area with fresh air, sunny spots and a view of the greenery, built to be escape-proof.

At home on several levels
Every cat room has at least three levels. Cats orient themselves by height: from above they can survey everything, and anyone who needs distance finds it without having to leave the room.
The rooms are fitted with scratching posts, sleeping caves, raised resting places and window seats. In front of the glass doors are the sunny spots, reliably occupied in the mornings. All areas are air-conditioned, warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. Cleaning is done daily and thoroughly.
Cats from one household stay together. Whether a cat gets a shared or a private room depends on how well she gets on with others; a private room is available for a surcharge. There is more on this in the guide: How a cat settles in.

Enquiry & advice
You simply fill in our enquiry form and describe your cat’s character, food, medication and anything special. We look at everything and send you a suitable quote by email. That way everything is ready when she arrives. If you have questions, you can reach us by phone at any time.
Arrival & settling in
On arrival we go through everything again calmly and clear up any open details. We check the vaccination record and keep it on file. A familiar object from home, her own blanket or a favourite toy, helps your cat settle in with smells she knows.

Care & collection
Daily attention with time for play and cuddles, just as your cat likes it. When you collect her you get a short account of how she enjoyed her time with us.
Experience your cat can feel
Cats rarely show openly how they are. That is exactly what we watch for: who is eating normally, who is withdrawing, who is seeking closeness? From these small signals we adjust feeding, rest and activity for each one. And because cats live with us in a quiet area of their own, it stays calm and relaxed, the way velvet paws need it.

What if my cat is very shy?
We respond sensitively to every cat and offer quiet places to retreat for more anxious animals.
Can several cats from one household stay together?
Yes, as long as they get on well, we are glad to house them together.
What if my cat needs special food or medication?
No problem. Tell us the details with your enquiry and we take care of it reliably. Please send medication in its original packaging and with a short written instruction.
What does the retreat area actually look like?
Within the group area there are many cosy places to retreat: caves, baskets and raised spots that any cat can withdraw to whenever she wants peace.
Is there outdoor access or is it indoors only?
There is a fenced, escape-proof outdoor area where your cat can enjoy fresh air and sun safely.
How early should I book a place?
We fill up quickly, especially during the school holidays. It is best to book your preferred dates a few weeks in advance.
Which vaccinations does my cat need?
Please bring the vaccination record with you. The usual ones are feline panleukopenia and cat flu. For cats arriving from abroad an active rabies vaccination is compulsory. Vaccination cover should be active. If the expiry date has only just passed, we are still happy to take your cat for up to six months afterwards. We are happy to clarify the details with you in advance.
What should I send along with my cat?
The most important thing for the journey: a sturdy carrier with a secure fastening. In it your cat arrives safely and calmly. Your cat herself travels best without any collar or flea collar, so that nothing catches while she is climbing and playing.
Food is included; only if she has special food please bring it along. Add a familiar blanket or a toy. Smells she knows make settling in easier.
Do I hear from you during the stay?
Yes, as a matter of course: we give you a short update on how your cat is doing. Exactly when depends on how the day goes.
What happens if my cat becomes ill?
We keep a close eye on all the pets. Should your cat feel unwell, we let you know straight away. Our vet comes to us at the house if needed, so your cat stays in familiar surroundings.
What if my arrival is delayed?
A call is all it takes. Traffic, a delayed flight or an appointment that runs long. As soon as we know, we adapt to it. That applies to arrival just as much as to collection.
Is someone with the cats at night as well?
Yes. We live in the same house as your cat. This means someone is on site around the clock and can respond immediately if needed.
